TRADENET SERVICES (TNETS) LEADS THE WAY IN LOGISTICS BACK-OFFICE OUTSOURCING

Singapore, October 6, 2007 - TradeNet Services (TNETS), Asia’s leading logistics back-office outsourcing business, reports further growth and announces expansion plans.

Following another very successful year with many new customer gains TNETS, the Singapore-based, specialist provider of back-office services to freight forwarders and logistics companies is pressing ahead with further expansion.

During the coming year TNETS expects to announce a major software development which, when fully deployed to customer sites, will further enhance efficiency for customers and lead to further reductions in unit costs.

“We have been very successful in teaming up with logistics companies to increase efficiency in their legacy processes. What we are now doing is going a stage further and helping them to streamline the process itself thereby creating a step reduction in their overall logistics processing requirements and related costs." said TNETS’ Director, Hameed Ghouse, commenting on the latest developments.

“Our customers are some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated players on the logistics and transportation scene geared to the boom in demand for efficient and effective logistics across Asia and in order to enable them to keep pace with the demands for lean cost deployments with their customers we have had to look at ways of removing steps from the process." he added.

TNETS expects to announce the rollout of the new application towards beginning of the next year to coincide with the release of the Singapore government’s TradeNet® version 4.0.

In addition to this, TNETS is looking at ways of expanding geographically in order to keep pace with customer requirements and at the same time secure cost efficiencies and expects to make further announcements in this regard in the coming months.
